Chromatic Samurai Burgers

Burger King Japan Introduces Colorful Red and Black Burgers

Over the past year, Burger King Japan introduced a number of black burgers, including the Kuro and Ninja. Aiming to take colorful burgers to the next level, the brand is introducing a pair of red and black burgers.

The Aka Samurai (Red Samurai) burger gets its color from the use of tomato powder combined with the flour for the bun. It also comes with a red-colored cheese and a fiery 'Angry Sauce.' The black Kuro Shogan and Kuro Taisho burgers are both infused with bamboo charcoal and come with an equally as dark 'Black Hashed Sauce.'

Burger King Japan is also introducing new black and red pies, which are just as colorful as the black and red burger buns. Now that adventurous foodies are inspiring the average consumer to branch out with their food choices, unusual colors in food are becoming commonplace.
