California Pizza Kitchen is making blue cheese lovers very happy with the release of its new Black & Bleu Pizza.
In late August, California Pizza Kitchen announced the rollout of four exciting new limited-time offerings. One of the most exciting, if many a bit polarizing offerings, is the Black & Bleu Pizza, which is big on blue cheese flavor. The new pizza starts with tender marinated grilled carne asada, paired with intensely flavored Gorgonzola crumbles, garlic olive oil, oven-roasted cherry tomatoes, and some shaved red onions. The whole thing is then finished with cracked black pepper and a parsley garnish.
If blue cheese isn't your thing, there are plenty of other new offerings to try. There's the Crispy Chicken Sandwich served on toasted brioche, the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad tossed in CPK’s signature buffalo sauce, and the new Sparkling Mango Sangria featuring pineapple, mango, and guava flavors.
