Biodegradable Bowls

This Line of Stylish and Functional Tableware is Made from Food Waste

'FOODSCAPES' is a new project that uses food waste to create stylish and functional biodegradable bowls. While many organizations have made efforts to help consumers cut down on food waste, this project focuses on turning leftover food scraps into a form of useful tableware.

The new biodegradable bowls are made entirely from edible leftover food waste. This material is then shaped and molded into stylish seed-shaped bowls. The bowls are free from additives, preservatives, correctors, thickeners, colorants and other artificial agents, making them safe for holding dry foods. Once you finish using the bowls, they can be dissolved with water and used as a form of fertilizer.

The biodegradable bowls not only offer a more sustainable form of tableware, but they also help to put consumer food waste to better use.
