Beth Fox-Fuller's ASDA Food Packaging Tells the Consumer How it is

In a world where product packaging often misleads the consumer, London design student Beth Fox-Fuller created these witty product design concepts for a UK-based supermarket called ASDA.

In Fox-Fuller's minimalist packaging design, Fox-Fuller argues for simple product labeling and establishing a truthful relationship with the consumer. She does so by using straightforward labels and a handwritten font to establish a personal relationship with the consumer. The labels feature blunt descriptions to entice the shopper to buy the product. Some great examples include a frozen tray of smoked mackerel with the description, "I'm a great catch" and a tray of bacon that says, "Bring me home." The labels come in a standard white design that are clean, clutter-free and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
