Now even bordellos are jumping on the earth-friendly bandwagon. I thought this meant they were going to start putting up solar-powered red lights (or even green lights), but no. Instead, a Berlin brothel is giving customers an incentive to be green—if they bike or use public transit to get to the brothel, they will receive a discount on services.
Thomas Goetz, the owner of the eco-concious Berlin brothel Maison d’Envie (House of Desire), says that it’s difficult to find parking in that district anyway. And, in the midst of the economic crisis, the option is an appealing one to patrons who have become more thrifty.
