The Beddr SleepTuner Helps to Assess Sleep Apnea and Improve Sleep Quality

The Beddr SleepTuner is an ultra-small wearable device that can be attached to one's forehead before sleep to determine if you have sleep apnea.

The product from the health start-up is being introduced as the first FDA-registered consumer sleep wearable of its kind, as well as one that helps to assess and improve one's quality of sleep beyond basic tracking. With the wearable, consumers are able to see just how their breathing and sleeping position of choice impacts their sleep quality, which ultimately plays a part in the well-being one experiences while awake—as sleep apnea can leave people feeling tired during the day, as well as at risk for other health conditions.

Beddr spotted an opportunity to create a consumer-friendly product as an alternative to overnight assessments that require people to spend a night in a sleep lab monitored by wires.
