Barn-Style Guesthouses

This Newly Built Barn is a Multi-Functional Guesthouse and Workout Space

This barn-style guesthouse in Wyoming was designed by Carney Logan Burke Architects to serve as a multi-functional space.

Located on a 15 acre property, this barn-style guesthouse was built to accommodate the many guests who visit the ranch. The barn-like structure functions as a guesthouse, workout space and first floor garage. The highlight of this space is the second story grid window made to look like two doors opening to a hay loft loading space. The homeowner is able exercise in front of this North-facing window and see the expansive view overlooking the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Re-interpreted classic structures like this barn-style guesthouse are popular in a variety of settings. In this case, the building serves as a nod to the region's history while appreciating the area's natural beauty.
