Balint Alovits Captured Staircases from Above for His New Series

Balint Alovits, a Hungarian photographer, lensed a variety of different staircases from above for a series he dubbed 'Time Machine.'

All of the images are taken around Budapest, however they're all vastly different in appearance. Two of the shots show flights of stairs that have bright blue carpets covering them, which brings more contrast to the dark wooden rails that wind up them. From so far away, the rails looks oddly uneven, making for a whimsical appearance that makes the scene appear as if its taken from a Tim Burton film.

Although many of the shots are taken from above, Balint Alovits also features a selection that are taken from the ground up, adding more variance to the project and driving the uniqueness of the architecture.
