Grab presents this amazing photo series showing off his balanced rock sculpture collection, citing the process as relaxing and therapeutic. The rocks themselves must meditate in order to stand on their ends without any support.
In reality, Grab says these sculptures aren't magic at all but instead the result of incredible patience and an acute awareness of balance. Rock balancing is not a new form of land art, but it is one of those forms that never gets old.
Almost all of the sculptures seen here were created in Colorado this past fall.
"Through manipulation of gravitational threads, the ancient stones become a poetic dance of form and energy, birth and death, perfection and imperfection," says Grab.
