Curvy Balance Bikes

The ZumZum Bike Has a Curved Wooden Frame

While it isn't unheard of to see a wooden frame on a balance bike, the ZumZum bike may be the first to sport a curved wooden frame that also serves as the bike's suspension system. New York-based company ZumZum wanted to create a balance bike that would get kids excited about biking and help them develop balance skills in order to graduate on to pedal bikes.

The ZumZum balance bike can increase 3.8 cm in height and stretch its wheelbase out thanks to its multi-position fork and dropout mounts, meaning the bike can essentially grow with the child. Thanks to this design, the bike can be used by children between the ages of 18 months to up to around four years, making it a godsend for parents who don't want to have to buy their toddler a new bike every year.
