These bacon-wrapped onion rings not only incorporate everyone's favorite meat strips, they are also breaded in Doritos. From Nick Chipman of food blog DudeFoods, the Bacon-Wrapped Doritos-Breaded Onion Rings follow a variety of recipes he created using nacho chip breading, not to mention bacon.
The Doritos-encrusted and bacon-wrapped onion rings are made by first removing the peel of a sweet onion and slicing it into inch-thick rings. After coating the rings in flour and dipping them in egg wash, they are rolled in crushed up Doritos and wrapped in bacon. You can then cook them -- securing with a tooth pick first is recommended though.
