3D-Printed Recycled Plastic Homes

Azure Printed Homes Aims to Revolutionize Home Building

Azure Printed Homes has collaborated with Italy-based WASP on a 3D printer that will enable the company to quickly erect prefabricated structures for a wide range of implementations. The company is aiming to fill the gap within the market when it comes to supplemental structures that would complement existing homes, while also setting sights on entire living spaces. The California-based startup has also successfully utilized plastic waste as a 3D printing material for construction, which could further reduce the need for virgin materials when it comes to house building.

Azure Printed Homes is reportedly able to 3D print the Azure Backyard Studio and the ADU in an ultra-fast manner, which would allow for them to be delivered in as little as 24-hours.
