AVANI Hotels Opened a New Resort in a Historic Building in Auckland

AVANI Hotels and Resorts opened a new luxury hotel in Auckland's former Magistrates Court heritage building from 1908.

The building underwent a full refurbishment, covering 39 floors and creating many new spaces. Design firm Interior Concepts completed the renovation, furnishing each of the 65 apartments with a clean and modern aesthetic with a pop of the brand's signature plum color. The biggest addition to the building was the spa area that includes a 22-meter heated swimming pool, a large hot tub and luxury sauna.

The company decided to keep a lot of the original structural elements of the classic building, adding them as a focal point to each room instead of covering them. The new resort by AVANI Hotels is open and taking reservations now.
