The system sets itself apart from other in-car systems (such as those by Volvo and Audi) because it is able to rely on its own onboard scanning laser, ultrasonic sensors and cameras to collect data, rather than relying on communication between the car and parking lot.
Drivers are able to activate Park4U mode and the car will identify a parking space, drive into it and send images back to the car owner's phone afterwards. When it's time to drive away, this mode can be activated once again and the car can also find its way to pick up the driver. The Valet Park4U is available on autos like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and S-Class.
