Walgreens is Offering Pixel by Labcorp At-Home COVID-19 PCR Kits

Walgreens has announced it will be providing Pixel by Labcorp At-Home COVID-19 PCR kits for free as part of a program designed to offer wider access to reliable testing without barriers. The new program comes as part of a collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services and Labcorp, and will see the free test kits available for in-store and curbside pickup at over 1,000 locations. The kits use the same test used by doctors and hospitals across the country to ensure the utmost attention to high-quality results.

President of Walgreens John Standley spoke on the free Pixel by Labcorp At-Home COVID-19 PCR kits program saying, "With many state-operated COVID-19 testing sites closing, accessible free testing options are limited, even as cases continue to rise in certain areas of the U.S. This means some are struggling to afford critical COVID-19-related services like testing. Walgreens is proud to expand our partnership with HHS and Labcorp to help address these barriers, particularly for uninsured, socially vulnerable and medically underserved populations who continue to be among those most impacted by COVID-19."
