Angular-Formed Houses

The Knot House by Atelier Chang Takes on a Distinctive Shape

Atelier Chang has designed a number of houses in South Korea that take on an angular, zig-zag-like shape. The abodes overlook a view of the water, and have a white-washed exterior look.

Since the houses are arranged in this pattern, it brings the people who live here together in a more community-like setting. Many times people in a town will not get together, but when you're living in a setup like this, it's hard not to turn around and say hello to the person next door. While these houses are quite compact, there is plenty of space in the surrounding area in case anyone feels like they need a little bit of extra breathing room.
