You might be surprised to learn that AT-AT walker isn't just for the elderly. Artist Keith Greenstein recently designed one for senior citizens, putting AT-AT legs on a standard walker. Comic book artist Ben Dewey took the idea one step further, transforming the walker of Stephanie Kaloi's four-year-old son into an epic AT-AT replica.
Kaloi's son recently underwent surgery and needed a walker to assist in his recovery. The mom sent an Instagram of the walker and a friend suggested that it looked liked the iconic war machine from the Star Wars series. Dewey took it from there, creating the AT-AT walker seen here. The faux robot is more or less an exact replica, with legs that look the part, a head and even a control panel showing the likeness of Darth Vader. In case you were wondering, Kaloi says that the AT-AT walker has been a hit with her son.
