PUMA and Sneakerness Collaborate on the Thunder Astroness Sneaker

In preparation for the upcoming Sneakerness Paris event this year, sportswear label PUMA works in collaboration with Sneakerness' founder Francky B to launch the Thunder Astroness sneaker. The new sneaker is an iteration of the label's signature Thunder runner model and draws design cues from the French city Marseille -- Mars in short. The name of the sneaker, Astroness, recalls both the city and planet Mars and it translates through some of the details. The orange color accents recall Mars' surface and NASA's original spacesuits.

The uppers are predominantly black, white, and gray, boasting monochromatic details alongside the pops of contrasting orange paneling at its sock lining and midsoles. The materials used to construct the silhouette is a mix of both leather and suede. The Thunder Astroness sneaker is highly limited, with only 201 pairs made and will be available at the Sneakerness Paris event.
