Ask Peanut Helps Moms Get Answers from Other Real Moms

Peanut, the app connecting women through all stages of motherhood, launched an AI feature called Ask Peanut inspired by a particular community behavior. Since early 2025, Peanut observed women using ChatGPT for health and parenting answers, then immediately asking the Peanut community for human-powered support and input.

"Everyone has a chatbot, but what women actually need is confidence and validation, which comes from other moms and women who have been in their place before them," said Peanut president Michelle Battersby. "Ask Peanut bridges the gap between asking online and getting real, human validation. We’re not building AI to replace what community can do, but an AI that makes our community stronger by placing them as the true source of knowledge."

After prompting Ask Peanut, users will see the feature highlight standout posts for deeper reading, then draft a post on the user’s behalf and recommend the top communities to get real responses.
