Arts District Photography

LA-Based Anon_Y_Mouse Creates Inspirational Travel Imagest

The arts district photography of Jonathan Ventura, a Los Angeles-based creative that may be better known by his alais Anon_Y_Mouse, combines images of the neighborhood with stylish typography, which gives them more context. While some of the typography simply informs people of the location of the images, others are more travel thematic and inspirational.

Created in collaboration with Arts District Printing Co. (ADPC), the arts district photography capture the unique character of the neighborhood in more than one way. The images are printed on Lokta paper, which "are handmade with Daphne plant bark by a women’s cooperative in Nepal [using] hand-crafted inks made from fruits and vegetables onto the durable textured paper." The result is artistically nostalgic.
