This Shirt by Artist Andrew Myers is Made from 6,500 Screws

Look closely at this chain mail-esque shirt by artist Andrew Myers, and you'll realize that it's actually made from screws. While this shirt is unable to be worn, it certainly makes for an interesting piece of art.

The artist, who hails from Laguna Beach, made the shirt by drilling 6,500 unique screws into plywood panels. Amazingly enough, the entire process is done by hand without the use of technology or digital tools.

The art piece is called 'It's Been a Long Day,' and is set against a panel of plywood, oil paints and French newspaper clippings dating from 1910 to 1930. Andrew Myers is an artist who has spent his career concentrating on making intricate collages, sculptures and images from screws.
