Aperol Spritz TO GO has been announced by the Campari Group as its latest addition to the ready-to-drink (RTD) category that will make access to a signature cocktail easier than ever.
The drink comes in a canned format that's arriving now in the UK oil the convenience sector, wholesale and grocers just ahead of the warm weather entertaining months. The canned cocktail features the classic bittersweet orange flavor of Aperol with the signature sparkling format of the spritz and comes in with a 5% ABV. The drink is suited for being chilled and consumed straight from the can to maximize convenience and eliminate the need for pouring.
Managing Director of House of Apertitifs at Campari Group Andrea Neri spoke on the Aperol Spritz TO GO saying, "Aperol Spritz has become a symbol of contemporary social style, and this new ready-to-drink format opens the door to new moments and places while staying true to the spirit that has defined Aperol for over a century. We are proud to bring that Aperol DNA and premium quality with the launch of the new format, heralding a new era for our beloved brand. As distribution builds, we’ll be working closely with our retail partners to drive visibility and rate of sale, particularly across key seasonal peaks where they can capitalise on the ongoing premiumisation of the category".
