L-Shaped Apartment Partition Designs

This Modern Block from Sinato is Ideal for Small Spaces

Designed by Japanese architectural firm Sinato, this apartment partition helps separate small but open spaces. The L-shaped structure is ideal for space-saving, especially in tight Tokyo studios like the renovated Fujigaoka M.

Located in a 26 year old apartment complex, the unit was conceived to not just give the area an updated and modern look, but also to create cross ventilation and increase natural light. The wooden apartment partition works as a central element in the open-plan space to create different rooms as well. At the top of the L-shaped block, glass panels were installed to allow light to come through and offer an unobstructed view of the ceiling so the home still looked spacious.
