The Redline Apartment Block Stands Out with Its Rosy Hue

Parisian firm Pietri Architects designed the Redline, a 59-unit apartment block located within a complex in southern France.

The architects embedded a chasm through the center of the existing complex; or, more accurately, between the two towers of the complex, creating a rooftop garden for the residents. The apartments had to be designed as such in order preserve to the limited greenery and sea views for the residents.

The defining feature of the block, of course, would have to be its bright pink color: the Redline is painted a gorgeous reddish-pink shade (this is also where the block's title comes from). The color also coats the walkways that connect the two towers to form a cohesive unit.
