Apple Arcade Added a Cost-Effective Annual Subscription Option

Apple Arcade added a new annual subscription option which is priced at $49.99. Previously the service cost $4.99 a month, and the new option provides annual subscribers with two free months of access to Apple Arcade. Apple has a history of providing consumers with an annual subscription option, and it has notably done so for Apple Music and Appel TV Plus.

Additionally, consumers who are already subscribed to Apple Arcade will have the option to switch to an annual subscription plan. Through Apple's Family Sharing, users are also able to share an account with six others.

Apple Arcade currently has over 100 titles that can be played on either iOS devices, Apple TV, or devices running macOS. Users also have the ability to download games and play offline.
