Anisotropia Busan Opera House is Inspired by a Piano Piece

Seems like design studio PRAUD is getting a run for their money with the Anisotropia Busan Opera House. The latest proposal for this South Korea-based theater building lies in stark contrast to PRAUD's stone-like structure. Taking a more fanciful approach, this design concept features a filigree exterior that is inspired by a piano piece composed by the firm's director. "The repetition of musical elements become the repetition of structural elements," writes Core 77.

Conceived by London-based architectural firm Orproject, the Anisotropia Busan Opera House's organic shape has a lot of movement, which is often present in such operatic performances. Beautifully sculptural, its lacy facade also lets in a lot of natural light, promoting its ethereal aesthetic and presence.

The Anisotropia Busan Opera House concept may start production in 2014 if chosen.
