The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter overseen by NASA recently discovered traces of water flowing along the planet's slopes in sedimentary minerals. To commemorate the revolutionary discovery, Google transformed its latest site logo into an animated GIF featuring a purple starry background and one of Google's O's truned into the little red planet. The planet is animated and turns simultaneously around while drinking a cup of water to signify the discovery of H20 on the planet's surface.
