The Andy Warhol Photo Booth Picture Book is Historic

These Andy Warhol Photo Booth pictures are a sample of the pictures featured in a compilation book of the iconic pop artist's infinite photo-booth pictures. Warhol's three year obsession with photobooth machines began after Harper's Bazaar commissioned him to do a layout in 1963. The images were of people he knew, famous people of the era and himself, and fit right into the pop artist's collection fo quirky portraitures.

The anthology, 'Andy Warhol Photobooth Pictures,' was published by New York's Robert Miller Gallery in 1989 to accompany an exhibition of the photo strips. Written by Gary Indina, the book highlights Warhol's own fascination with celebrated famous personalities and delves into his history and influences. Brand new editions of the book are available for purchase at a price of almost $3000, a price well worth it to many Warhol appreciators as well as art collectors.
