Beaded Wire Lamps

This Lamp By Andrea Anastasio Brings What Would Be Hidden to the Forefront

When looking at this lamp by Andrea Anastasio, one can tell what it is meant to be, but it looks like no other lamp seen before.

Anastasio deconstructed the lamp for contemporary Italian lamp designers 'Foscarini.' This lamp consists of a cone-shaped porcelain shade attached to a long electrical wire, wrapped around a hook stand. On the wire are two brightly colored glass spheres. The lamp comes in a variety of color combinations and would look great in almost any space. The Salone del Mobile named this design 'Best of Euroluce.'

This deconstructed design by Andrea Anastasio is an interesting take on an everyday object. Aesthetically, it is balanced and versatile. Its bold design reflects both an 80s aesthetic (think the Memphis Group), but would also function in a modern space.
