The method of producing these images is pretty straight forward. What happens is a photo is taken of the objects and placed on the desk, so you're never actually seeing a 3D object. The pictures are skewed all along, but they're filmed on an angle so they look like 3D objects. The camera goes in for a close up and everything looks legit, but when it pulls back and the hand moves in the trick is revealed.
