Amazon Brick-and-Mortar Location Will Showcase Line of Electronics

Recently, online auction site eBay opened up a physical pop-up store in London, with rumors that a more permanent location is in the works, and now the Amazon brick-and-mortar store will be joining in on the online-to-offline fun.

The mega online retailer Amazon has announced that it will be opening up a physical store in Seattle (its hometown). This physical location will be focused on showcasing the Amazon brand of electronics, such as its most recent Kindle Fire tablet, to a wider audience. Here, customers can actually try out Amazon's electronics before committing to buying them. This first Amazon brick-and-mortar store will only be a test store, however, as the brand wants to see whether opening up a physical shop will be profitable.
