The aMAZEme Installation is Inspired by Author Jorge Luis Borges

The aMAZEme Installation isn't a typical labyrinth. Not only is it made out 250,000 books, it takes on the form of Jorge Luis Borges unique fingerprint. Considering that Borges was an acclaimed writer and educator, the medium is more than appropriate. More than that, as My Modern Met observes, the aMAZEme Installation 'gives the phrase "getting lost in a good book' a whole new meaning." Borges himself was once quoted saying, "I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library."

Created by Brazilian artists Marcos Saboya and Gualter Pupo, the aMAZEme Installation is currently on display at the Southbank Centre in London, England. To the delight of both children and adults, it will inspire as much imagination and playfulness as the books do themselves.
