The 'Alternative Organic Wine' Label Concept is Naturally Wrapped

The 'Alternative Organic Wine' packaging concept is created by Tony Ibbotson, who was inspired to fabricate a classy labelling system that didn't look cheap or second-rate.

To reflect the premium nature of the limited edition sauvignon blanc the bottle holds, Ibbotson takes some of the most basic and natural elements of nature: real balsa bark, vine and loose leaves, but arranges them in a minimalistic and design-conscious configuration. The raw materials look like they were growing into the bottle, giving it a unique appearance but with an aesthetic twist.

Instead of just using paper that was pumped out from a special type of wood or applying foreign material-fused ink, the design by The Creative Method takes the term 'natural packaging' and harnesses it in its most literal form. The concept has won Best In Show at the recent Dieline Package Design awards.
