Multiplied Duplicate Art Projects

Alexis Jemus Made a Clone Army in IKEA

Photographer Alexis Jemus hijacked Google Maps and used panorama photography to multiply himself nearly 50 times all over an IKEA store in Montreal.

The result was a surreal army of clones in the Street View visualization of the IKEA. The clones were positioned in fake kitchens, fake hallways and fake dinning room tables. Despite their innocent facial expressions, the creepy clones seem to be plotting world domination.

It's safe to say I will never look at calm and boring, furniture-filled IKEA in the same way again. I'll probably be looking over my shoulder every time I'm in there, trying to spot a Jemus clone. Jemus is known for his Street View manipulation. You can see more on his Google+ profile.
