The ALDI Corner Store Offers a Convenient Way to Access Products

The ALDI Corner Store is a new retail concept developed in collaboration with global design firm Landini Associates in Sydney, Australia to provide consumers in urban areas with a way to seamlessly access fresh foods.

The retail space maintains a small footprint that is oriented towards the urban landscape and draws inspiration from convenience store locations when it comes to layout. The store, however, is focused on offering mostly fresh foods to maximize how shoppers can access nutritious fare in a convenient way.

The ALDI Corner Store was explained further by Director of the ALDI Corner Store Project Huw Longman who said, "Aldi are proud to present an elevated, never-before-seen, convenience-driven store format that is both uniquely different and recognizably Aldi. The new Corner Store layout is aligned to the needs of a local, largely walk-in customer base, with simple navigation, self-checkouts, fresh offerings, quality products and everyday low prices, with a nostalgic neighborhood feel."
