The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has produced a system called Future Attribute Screening Technologies (FAST) that measures facial expressions, pupil dilation, pulse/breathing rates, and skin temperature to identify people with ill-intent. They claim a 79% accuracy rate on hostility and 80% on deception. Not bad. This is really an early step into the creation of robot thought.
