Air-Purifying Apps

'Awair' is an App-Controlled Device That Automatically Improves Air Quality

San Francisco-based company 'Bitfinder' has given air-purifying apps a major redesign with its new app-controlled smart device called 'Awair.' For those suffering from allergies or asthma, this smart app can help you to breathe easier while at home.

The Awair device has internal sensors that specifically measure humidity, temperature, fine dust particles, carbon dioxide and other harmful organic compounds. The device then takes this data and assesses the air quality of your home. Through the Awair app you can set the perimeters for testing your home's air quality and the app will provide recommendations based on collected data for behavioral changes so that your asthma or allergies are not triggered the moment you walk through the door.

Unlike other air-purifying apps, the Awair device is also connected to other smart home devices and will automatically turn your air purifiers, humidifiers or thermostat on or off if necessary.
