Curry-Inspired Tonal Sneakers

Nike Unveiled Two New Colorways for the Air Max 1 Curry Sneakers

Nike first unveiled its Air Max 1 Curry sneakers 15 years ago and the label now drops a pack of the shoes with two new colorways. The new Curry pack is comprised of three options in total -- the original 'Dark Curry', 'Olive Flak' and 'Tough Red.' The three tones are created to honor the different types of curry that exists throughout Asia. The Dark Curry colorway recalls the famous curry powder hue that is recognized all over the world. The Olive Flak version draws influence from the traditional green curry from Thailand. The Tough Red iteration boasts a deeper red curry tone.

All three versions are constructed with premium suede and nubuck leather materials throughout the uppers. There are also mesh paneling details and the signature swoosh branding accent boasts either a white, tan, or moss green color in contrast to the respective uppers. Within the interiors, there are suede lining details to add a premium touch and matching lacing systems to brighten it all up. To tie the whole shoe altogether is the clean white midsoles and black outsoles with the iconic Nike Air bubble in the heel.
