MIlan Ad Agency Has Cleverly Designed Condoms in Posters

In light of World AIDS Day that is around the corner, people from all around the globe capitalize on the event to unite in the fight against HIV and to promote AIDS awareness. For 2013, advertising agency DLV BBDO based in Milan has created a new small series of poster ads for World AIDS Day with the slogan, "Condom Saves Life." The ads feature cleverly designed condom posters that conceal this method of contraception to promote safe sex. These unassuming illustrations are fun as well as thought-provoking.

The first poster shows a condom shaped as an igloo with a bear licking his lips, assuming he wants to break into the condom shaped igloo but can’t. Another poster shows an astronaut inside a condom shaped spaceship with an alien (symbolic of the HIV virus) standing outside. The final poster shows a condom-shaped bird cage with a cat standing by it, unable to enter. These posters help show the audience that condoms are indeed effective and can help prevent the spread of AIDS.
