Designer Aibek Almassov is part of architectural firm Kazakh that headed up the design of the 'inverted treehouse' that is a glass tubular abode that surrounds a fully grown tree. The home offers unique 360-degree views of the entire setting while simultaneously incorporating the living plant into the design of the home.
The 'inverted treehouse' is a adult-version of the popular childhood abode that typically builds a wooden clubhouse amongst the tree's branches. Almassov's take is a glass cylinder home that is entirely transparent on the exterior with the walls and ceiling being made entirely of glass. The home is built around a living tree with a spiralled staircase that wraps around and takes guests between the four different flours. The home is furnished with modern pieces and offers an open-concept layout.
