The Hand in Hand Project Dishes Out Advice for Young Writers

This interesting project dishes out advice for young writers in a fun and whimsical way. The 'Shared Worlds' group asked a couple of established writers, artists and authors to offer some words of advice for their young proteges by scribbling some advice on their own hands.

The short and snappy advice from these fully-fledged writers ranged from 'Read everything' to 'Don't take anybody's writing advice too seriously' to 'Believing in your own stories'.

The organisers of this worthwhile project say that they want to remind young writers starting off on their career path that: "they are not alone on this path" and that, "someone else has been there before -- behind a different keyboard, holding a different pen." The resounding message from these words of encouragement for young writers is: "Keep writing."
