Rusty Taco founder Rusty Fenton has a love for travel and food. During one trip to Acapulco, Mexico, Fenton tried a flavorful fish taco that blew him away. The chain's Acapulco Fish Taco is inspired by Fenton's experience and tries to recreate the tasty flavors of Acapulco.
The new taco consists of grilled or tempura-battered fish paired with a slice of avocado, coleslaw, and pico de gallo. The whole thing is topped with avocado crema and served in a warm flour tortilla. As Rusty Taco's Brand Director Denise Fenton explains, "Rusty always loved the authentic flavors of street tacos in Acapulco. In honor of that, we’re proud to unveil the new Acapulco Fish Taco with a housemade avocado crema."
