The T4 is a hybrid electric off-grid travel trailer developed by California-based Aboard RV with an aerodynamic profile and an integrated Extended-Range Electric Vehicle powertrain. The 24-foot trailer combines a reinforced chassis with a powered axle that can propel the trailer independently, reducing strain on the tow vehicle during climbs while improving driving efficiency. A metal body incorporates expansive glazing, while automotive-style doors provide secure weather protection. The interior arranges a kitchen, bathroom, and two convertible lounge areas within a layout designed for extended travel.
The trailer weighs approximately 6,500 pounds and carries a 41 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery paired with a 60 kW range-extending generator, providing more than 200 kWh of onboard power. The generator can recharge the battery in under 30 minutes and can also supply electricity to an electric tow vehicle when required.
