Mane introduced an experimental garden in Grasse dedicated to fragrance and aromatic plants, created in partnership with local grower Sébastien Rodriguez and the Les Fleurs d’Exception du Pays de Grasse association. The site serves as a living laboratory featuring emblematic species such as rose, jasmine and tuberose, alongside new hybrids developed with scientific institutes. It also includes a mobile laboratory for on-site analysis and extraction.
Mane said the garden will support regenerative agriculture trials and its redesigned enfleurage extraction system, E-Pure Jungle Essence, enabling fragrances to be extracted from freshly harvested plants to better preserve delicate aromatic compounds. Researchers will also study how soil, climate and cultivation practices influence scent profiles.
For perfumers and consumers, the project promises more diverse, traceable natural ingredients while advancing sustainable sourcing and botanical research for the next generation of fragrance development.
