Airy Cocoon Abodes

AR Design Studio's 4 Views House is Designed Around a Central Garden

The 4 Views house by AR Design Studio adopts an unconventional layout that puts the living spaces on the bottom floor and the social spaces up top. With this arrangement, the homeowners and their guests are better able to appreciate the view when cooking or lounging.

Another unique feature of the house is that it's designed around a central zen garden that features a lone olive tree, which can be viewed through a glass. Since the other rooms of the house radiate off of this central space, the house has a protective cocoon-like feel to it. This was especially important for the homeowners, who lost their daughter and were in need of a new home that would provide them with a fresh, positive environment.
