This Wolf Ranch 3D-printed model home has been shown off as part of an ambitious development that will be situated near Austin, Texas to provide consumers with a new kind of dwelling.
The model home was created by Lennar and Icon, and features a one-floor layout that provides would-be homeowners with the ability to see firsthand what a 3D printed home could look and feel like. The result is a spacious, open-concept living area with either three or four bedrooms alongside two or three bathrooms.
The Wolf Ranch 3D-printed model home is built using Icon's Vulcan 3D printers that utilized a proprietary mixture with a cement-like texture called Lavacrete. The model home shows off an industrial aesthetic that would work well for design-conscious consumers.
