These 3D-Printed Fashion Design Pieces Feature Panels and Accessories

These striking pieces of 3D-printed fashion design come from Accademia Italiana graduate Irina Tosheva.

When Tosheva used printing service MK3D Printing, she was able to make the most of the M200 3D printer from Zortrax, which can be used with filaments in a range of colors. Fortunately, there were ones to match the pastel colors used for Tosheva's garment designs. These colors coincided with Pantone's color choice of the year.

While 3D printing has been used to create stunningly avant-garde fashion designs, the use of small 3D-printed panels and accessories offers a more cost-effective way to accentuate a garment. Once put in place, these 3D-printed pieces seem to be integral pieces to the outfit, rather than just simply decorative add-on accessories.
