The David Copithorne ‘3D Geometric Photography' Set Distort

Rising photographer David Copithorne has spent the past few months capturing the landscapes of Brazil, and now thanks to his ‘3D Geometric Photography’ collection, these snapshots are available for public viewing. While the scenic milieus are breathtaking in their own right, Copithorne has added more to the backdrop.

The Copithorne collection merges nature with digital manipulation. Through the superimposition of geometric shapes onto the photos, the series has managed to pull off an intensely magnified look. Within the ornate spheres, triangles and cubes, viewers can observe augmented images that would otherwise not be seen if it weren’t for their virtual enhancement.

The 3D Geometric Photography exhibit is a part of a broader project that has distinguished Copithorne’s Tumblr page from the rest. And while his undertaking is a great one, he has maintained that he only wishes to relay scenes that have yet to be seen by nonprofessional onlookers.
