Chengxu Tian Creates 3D Shoe Designs with Textures and Vivid Color

Recently graduated fashion design student Chengxu Tian offers his latest collection of 3D shoe designs, artfully constructed using layering and texturing effects as inspiration. The Layering Movement features a multitude of styles, including booties, sneakers and pumps.

Each design uses bold contrasting colors and is made by Chengxu using ovens to set a mold and a press machine that allows him to exclude glue as an adhesive tool. The futuristic design and eye catching contrast make his shoes immaculate statement pieces that won't leave their wearer forgotten.

While this year's 'The Layering Movement' is Chengxu's third design series, his other collections include the 2013 'Brisk and Soar' collection and the 2012 'Melting' range. With each taking on a completely different look and crossing fresh boundaries, it is clear Chengxu's 3D soe design vision will make him a name to remember.
