BIG Introduces the 1550 on the Green Building in Texas

Danish architecture studio BIG introduces a look at the 1550 on the Green building located in Houston -- this marks the studio's first skyscraper in Texas. It was developed by Skanska USA and has 28 stories in total as a part of the 'bundle of six towers.'

The building slightly curves as it rises and the tallest measures 137 meters. Jenna Dezinski, lead architect for the project speaks to Dezeen, stating the reason for this, "By breaking up the building into a bundle of towers, we created a dynamic quality to the building." The towers progress and curve slightly further from the park adjacent to feel like the park is a part of the building when being observed from the glass ground floor.
